There’s a small island on the Pacific coast of Canada with 900 people, one general store, two ferries away from the nearest town. Long story short, we sold everything, packed our bags, and left.
New Album, New Sound, New Us
On Hornby Island, you might see more eagles than people, and the only loud neighbours are the sea lions at the edge of the shore.
It’s wild, beautiful, and mysterious.
While we were on the island, we asked ourselves: How could we express our transformation in a musical form?
The answer was a new album and a new sound for the new us.
We made nine songs that reflect our “re-wilding” and reconnection with ourselves—with nature, and its cycles.
For us, it feels like a sacred album for these disconnected times.
Keep it Going
As you know, a music project is a big endeavor. After the creative process, it means recording, promoting, and touring in order to reach more people.
Now that we’ve walked a part of the journey, we need your support to keep it going.
We feel like this album is a big turning point for us, and with it, we’d like to take this “rewilding” mission as far as we can.
We believe that the world needs more voices that remind us of who we are, and that bring out the humanity that connects us to each other.
Thanks for helping us get this very special project made and heard.
Love,
Marc & Esther
PS - Thanks to our amazing contributors we were able to finance the entire album production and distribution costs. Thanks so much everyone, we love you all so much ❤️.
